About Me

I trained at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, the world’s leading school in Nutritional Psychology where I received my certification as an Eating Psychology Coach. In IPE’s internationally acclaimed program, I learned powerful cutting-edge tools and protocols that enable me to work with weight issues, body image challenges, overeating, binge eating, emotional eating, and a variety of nutrition related health concerns such as digestion, fatigue, mood, immunity, and others. My work combines the powerful new fields of Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind-Body Nutrition. The skills I use from this training are a combination of practical coaching techniques, results-oriented psychology, clinical nutrition, body-centered practices, mind-body science, and a positive and compassionate approach to challenges with food and health.

Now how I got into this field is because I found out that I had stage
4 Lyme’s disease in the year 2000. And despite all the best efforts of
the medical field I kept getting worse. But for some reason I knew
that I was going to get better despite it being an “incurable”
disease. So my relentless search started. By chance I found two
natural healing schools and put myself on there incurables program
which constited of a 30 day juice fast and taking herbs. To my
surprise I started feeling much better. I then received a herbal and
nutritionist certificate to help fill my hunger for more wisdom in
these fields. This is when I started seeing friends and eventually
clients because people could see the dramatic change I went
through in my life. My goal was simple, do whatever I could to help my
clients get the results they wanted. Which led me to also seek out the best
supplements that were made. My next step was getting certified in
Kinesiology whereI found out that each body metabolizes the same
suppliment differently and I could now test to see which supplements
worked the best for each individual person. I thought that now nothing
could stop me and I was going to help every client who came to me get
where they wanted to go. But I started seeing a pattern where clients
would come in with the same ailments and one would get better and the
other would not, while doing the same strategy with each one. And because I
want to see results with all my clients I found the Institute for the
Psychology of Eating. This is where I learned the mind-body principles
and dynamic eating psychology that helped me and my clients better
understand any symptom that that they were feeling.
